Thank you for booking the Digital Photography Course. I'm really looking forward to helping you to understand your camera and take even better photographs. The course starts at 10am prompt with coffee and biscuits on arrival after 9.30am and it runs through until about 5pm.
There are a few things you can do before the course to ensure your experience runs smoothly
- Please ensure you have fully charged batteries as we will be using your cameras a lot and someone's battery nearly always runs out.
Better still to buy a spare battery before the course visit www.mymemory.co.uk for batteries at less than half price. - An empty memory card with space for 100 images.
- A free buffet lunch is included and there will be a vegetarian option. If you have any allergies or special requirements it may be better to bring a packed lunch. Coffee & biscuits are provided on arrival.
- Bring warm clothes and good shoes as the practical sessions do take place outside.

I mainly run group courses at the weekend as that’s when most people are available. I don’t run any group courses during the week but I do run 121 private tuition courses. As I don’t have to share my time between 6 students these courses are effectively contain as much content as the beginners and intermediate course. The actual practical photography session is about three times as long as on the group courses and we are able to concentrate more on any specific interest you may have.
The one to one courses cost £295 for one person including lunch or you can bring a friend with you for just an extra £100. If you want to get started quickly I’m fully booked this week but I do have a few dates available during May and June.

Thank you for your enquiry. We are still running one to one courses this year but the next group courses will be in late January or February of the new year. If you would like to be contacted for the first courses you could buy a personalised gift voucher as any prepaid recipients are notified before the courses are advertised on the website.
