Each course is individually tailored to your needs with follow up notes and email or phone support for 30 days. You will also receive free access to hours of online training videos.
Courses normally run from 9.30am to 4.30pm ( or until your head explodes )

These courses are restricted to one or two students covering the same itinerary. Laptops with Photoshop 7 or CS2 are provided but you can bring your own laptop if you wish. All course come with notes and tutorial files for you to take away. You can bring your own images if you prefer. Lunch is provided but if you have any special dietary requirements it may be better to bring a packed lunch..
- Session One: This will be spent learning about the various tools, the Photoshop interface and shortcuts..
- Session Two: Correcting photographs for colour, contrast and brightness.
- Session Three: Using the clone and patch tools to repair an old and damaged photograph.
- Session Four: After lunch you will receive expert tuition to work on one of your own images or you can choose from a selection of our images.

Photoshop for absolute beginners
This 3 hour evening course is for people completely new to Photoshop or Photoshop Elements. This 3 hour evening course is for people who may have used Photoshop or Photoshop Elements for a little while or have used a different photo-editing program previously. You will be shown how to selectively correct images which are too light or too dark and crop an image to show it's best potential. There will be limited time for practice on the evening but hopefully by seeing just what the program is capable off you will be tempted to experiment at home.
Photoshop for Landscape photographers
Landscape photography is a lot more difficult than most people think. Often the results, straight out of the camera, do not match up to your visualization at the time you took the picture. This full day course is aimed at photographers who want to enhance their landscape pictures so they better capture the feel and atmosphere of the memories they are meant to portray.
This hands on course starts with an explanation of the tools and menus we will be using followed by a step by step lesson where you actually improve the colour and contrast of an image. You will be shown how to seamlessly remove any distracting details such as pylons or telegraph poles. Next you will be shown burning and dodging techniques to further enhance the image and really make it stand out from the crowd. Finally we will remove a boring grey sky and replace it with a more dramatic one. You are encouraged to bring your own pictures on this course and I'll be on hand to guide and advise you how to crop and enhance the picture.
Photoshop for wedding photographers
Wedding photographers tend to have some unique challenges as often the bride will be in white and all the men will be in black suits. Not only can this lead to exposure problems on the day but it can sometimes be difficult to keep detail in both the white dresses and the black suits. This course will demonstrate fast selection techniques which will improve your images and speed up your work flow considerably.
You will be shown and encouraged to use shortcut keys and actions to greatly speed up your processing time. One student managed to cut his photo-editing time by 80% which save him hours every day. The day will include the best method for converting images to monochrome and also show you how to use spot colour or sepia. We will look at cropping, photo-montages and opening eyes which are closed.
